“It’s Showtime” is the newest noontime show of ABS-CBN

“It’s Showtime” will be the newest noontime show of ABS-CBN as a replacement of the axed Happy Yipee Yehey. Thus, “It’s Showtime” will compete against Eat Bulaga for the same time slot. The hosts of the show are Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Kim Atienza, Teddy Corpuz, at Juggy Jugueta. Also, parts as judges of the show are Ryan Bang, Collen Garcia, and Jhong Hilario.

The Showtime‘s Unkabogable Party Bus Caravan is currently touring around Manilla as part of their promotion.

Let’s just wait and see if the new formatted “Showtime” can top their rival show, Eat Bulaga, which happens to be the longest running noontime show in Philippines.

President Noynoy Aquino and Grace Lee are dating!

There are rumors that President Noynoy Aquino is dating GMA 7’s TV host Grace Lee. It all started when DJ MO Twister spurted out in his twitter account that she is dating the president. Here’s his tweet:

"we are talking about Grace Lee's date last night with President Aquino. #itsmorefuninthephilippines"

Grace released her statement today that she leaves it already to the President to speak on the matter. 

"You know, I have the highest respects for the President and I respect his privacy. I leave it up to him to speak on the matter. Pagkatapos na lang siguro kung mayroon man akong kailangang iklaro sasabihin ko rin here at GMA and GMA News TV only”.

Grace Lee and President Noynoy Aquino met at one of the events in Cebu and they have been texting since then.

Happy Yipee Yehey will end on February 4, 2012

So it’s final. I have already reported this and finally, ABS-CBN confirmed today that Happy Yipee Yehey will end on Saturday, February 4, 2012. The noontime show started last February 12, 2011 with the original hosts John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Manalo, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Sam Milby and John Prats.

Their last episode would be the grand finals of “My Girl” that will be held at AFP Theater.

There is inside report that Happy Yipee Yehey will be off aired soon. Reports said that the axed show will be replaced by Showtime. Also, Rico J. Puno, on today’s episode in Happy Yipee Yehey, told the press to stop writing about the issue. He noted that the press should not lead the decision of the network.

The slogan received a lot of criticism and even branded a copycat of the slogan in Switzerland which is “It’s more fun in Switzerland”. Albeit the criticism, the DOT is still pursuing the new slogan.

Oyo Sotto, son of Vic Sotto, has been posting some meaty and intriguing tweets lately about a person who is materialistic and looks after only for the money.

“Bourne Legacy” to shoot in Manila

Hollywood “Bourne Legacy” film will set to shoot in the country this month of January 2012. Lead stars of the film such as Rachel Weiss, Edward Norton and Jeremy Renner will be in Manila.  It was reported that almost half of the film will be shoot in the Philippines. The locations for Bourne movie to shoot are as follows: Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Intramuros and Jones Bridge.

Vice Ganda admits rift with Ai-Ai de las Alas

It was reported by Ricky Lo in his column that Vice Ganda and Ai-Ai de las Alas has a misunderstanding and true enough, Vice confirmed the rift with Ai-Ai during his guesting in The Buzz. It started when he snubbed Ai-Ai at an event.

"Totoo pong nangyari 'yon na hindi po kami nagpansinan ni Ms. Ai Ai sa isang lugar. Di kami nagpansinan, di ko siya pinansin, di niya ako pinansin at walang pansinang naganap kasi mayroon po kaming pinagdadaanan," Vice Ganda said.

On Ai-Ai’s part, when asked about the issue, all she said is “Sorry po, no comment.  I hope you understand New Year and peace. As always let’s be magnanimous in our victory.” 

Vice hopes that in due time, the issue between them will be resolved.

Janelle Manahan and Ramgen Revilla Scandal

A sex scandal of Janelle Manahan and Ramgen Revilla surfaced today. The couple in the scene was doing their intimate moments in the bathroom. Atty Argee Gueverra, the lawyer of Janelle Manahan, accused Ramgen’s family of backing up all this things.

Atty Gueverra said , "That video was stored in Ramgen's computer and later transferred to one of the computers of the Bautista household." The cut version of the scandal was uploaded in YouTube.
