President Noynoy Aquino and Grace Lee are dating!

There are rumors that President Noynoy Aquino is dating GMA 7’s TV host Grace Lee. It all started when DJ MO Twister spurted out in his twitter account that she is dating the president. Here’s his tweet:

"we are talking about Grace Lee's date last night with President Aquino. #itsmorefuninthephilippines"

Grace released her statement today that she leaves it already to the President to speak on the matter.

"You know, I have the highest respects for the President and I respect his privacy. I leave it up to him to speak on the matter. Pagkatapos na lang siguro kung mayroon man akong kailangang iklaro sasabihin ko rin here at GMA and GMA News TV only”.

Grace Lee and President Noynoy Aquino met at one of the events in Cebu and they have been texting since then.

PNOY under fire because of Valerie Conception's tweet

President Benigno Aquino receives a lot of criticism and disapproval from Netizens after Valerie Conception tweeted that the President is partying and having a good time with his PSG staffs Christmas party amidst the typhoon Sendong in Mindanao.

Valerie Conception is one of the performer and guest of the party. She tweeted:

"I'm here na sa Malacanang for the PSG Christmas Party. Ms. Jessa Zaragoza is here also..3 kanta pala ako dito..Akala ko 2 lng.."

And lastly, she tweeted:

"Done w/ work. Tnx for having me..:) It was nice to see Pres. P-Noy laughing at my jokes & enjoying my performance..."

These tweets of her sparks outrage from social networking users. Many have reacted violently and accused the president for being insensitive. Valerie immediately removed the tweets and apologizes to the public about the altercation she had created.

While on the other hand, the Aquino sisters, Ballsy Aquino- Cruz and Pinky Aquino-Abellada, defended PNoy during their guesting in Kris TV by saying that the president is really planning to go to Cagayan de Oro but it was not pushed through because of the bad weather condition and the entire Saturday night, he is already constantly phone monitoring everything.

PNOY vs. Chief Justice Renato Corona

Experts say that if the issue between the Executive government against to its Judicial body will not be resolved, a political crisis might happen to the Philippines. It’s just sad to know that these two important government bodies are in tug of war right now. One notable example of this is the showing of abhorrence or let’s just say, not so “kind” words from our President towards the highest official of our Supreme Court, Chief Justice Renato Corona. It happened in a summit/talk where the two high officials were invited as guest of honors and speakers.

The President during his speech directly criticized the chief justice about their decision of giving the former Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo the right to travel abroad. Well, one can’t blame the President for showing so much denunciation to the chief justice if you are involved and have done the following:
1.       Being a mid-night appointee of the former President Gloria Arroyo. You should remember that when PNOY won from the presidency, he opted not to take his oath to Justice Corona. There was even an issue before that he’d rather took his oath to a Barangay Captain than to do it with the chief justice itself.
2.       For trashing the Truth Commission – a body that will supposedly investigate the corrupt practices of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and others. The Supreme Court ruled the commission as “unconstitutional”.
3.       And the latest one, about the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court to allow the ex-President to travel abroad due to her health condition.
These are some factors why there’s so much hate from our President to the Chief Justice. On the other hand, I admire the latter for showing only “coolness” in spite all of these harsh words.

Put The Little Girl To Sleep

Is there a plot to kill the ex-President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo? The alleged plot of the said killing was called oplan "Put The Little Girl To Sleep". This phrase has been trending for weeks now and supporters of the ex-President now turned congresswoman are becoming wary of her safety.

And what does the MalacaƱang has to say about this issue? Oh, well, it seems that their effort of asking a sort of "sympathy" to the public is quite a failure and just fall into deaf ears and blind eyes when MalacaƱang boldly declared that this things is "just a figment of their imagination."
